So this season of Baldwin Hills is over. I really wasn't into it at first because some of it seemed scripted. But when I noticed the cast and their different personalities and drama, I couldn't help but tune in. Lor'rena, for one, was too funny..her attitude set her above the rest_Moriah was I guess the "ladies man"_&& Gerren seemed stuck up && too in her "ways"_At times it seemed as if the girls were a bit tooo much but then maybe that was just them being them. Even though it seemed the show was all about the drama surrounding Moriah, my fave character was Justin.
I was for everything that he was about. and I believe he was the most influential person outta his peers. He like myself didn't have a close relationship with his father. There were some things in his life he wasn't too proud of and in turn is suffering the consequences. He gave pep talks to his friends, such as sitting Gerren down and letting her know her behavior wasn't that of a lady or a model and she should resolve it. The best thing about him is that he devoted his life to being the best MAN, FATHER, && CHRISTIAN possible. So in spite of all his troubles, he still gave God all the glory. His Godfather also happens to be gospel recording artist, Kirk Franklin. On one episode, Justin has Kirk Franklin guest speak for his youth ministry. His main message was, "I signed up for this". He made it plain that things are gonna come our way because we signed up for it by redeeming ourselves and giving our life to Christ. I hope I'm not the only person who was really feeling what he was talking about. Lastly, Justin showed how no matter what you should learn to forgive as he did on the season finale, where he reconnects with his father and they begin the relationship that he'd been craving for all of his life.
So now when things don't go my way and it seems as if their is something or some1 hendering me.:i jus have to remember.:THIS IS WAT I SIGNED UP 4!!!
